Registration is open any time of the year.
Beginners
Beginners without dance experience do not need to take a level placement class. Reserve your preferred class by registering online. Classes fill quickly.
New students will love our classes! Please visit our home page to learn about our monthly trial class offers for beginning level students.
The trial classes are scheduled in any of the beginning levels.
Trial class spaces are reserved and may not be re-scheduled.
Trial class requests are emailed to ClientCare@DTIdance.com.
Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled class to sign - in.
Girls wear their hair up in a pony tail secured away from the face and neck. Head bands and pins are worn for short hair.
Ballet girls wear a leotard or one piece bathing suit, leggings or tights. Limited sizes of ballet shoes are available and may be borrowed at DTI.
Ballet boys wear a tight fitting t-shirt, shorts, and thin socks.
Students taking other dance styles have a choice of wearing a leotard or one piece bathing suit, tight-fitting t-shirt, leggings or shorts, thin socks or barefeet.
Jeans, skirts, or street shoes are NOT allowed on the dance floor.
Students with prior dance training
Students ages 4-20 with prior dance training take a Level Placement class prior to registering into levels higher than the beginning level. Level Placements are scheduled through the blue "Click here to Register Online" link by choosing
"1_LVPL'. The level placement class cost is $25, due before the level placement class, for one or more dance styles and is applied to the registration fee when the student registers.
Level Placements
Each student's success is our priority. All students are accepted and placed into the level most beneficial for them. Level placement is based on technique, musicality, maturity, strength, and flexibility. Registration into levels higher than the beginning level requires a teacher and director recommendation.
Students attending summer classes are evaluated during their summer classes.
