Emily Thai
Born and raised in Evergreen, San Jose, Emily is a graduate of Norwood Creek and a Top Ten graduate of her class from Quimby Oak Middle School. At age five she bought her first pair of ballet slippers, took her first dance class at Dance Theatre International, and fell in love with ballet. She has been apart of the DTI family ever since. Emily has studied ballet for 11 years as well as other dance forms like Modern and Jazz. She has performed a variety of roles in SJYB's annual Nutcracker productions as well as danced in DTI's Student Showcase every year. Emily enjoys teaching young children, and she hopes to instill her love of dance to her students. She currently teaches Ballet/Tap, Ballet Basic, and Ballet I.
