ballet dancers at Dance Theatre International

Andrew Dinh

From knee-high to eye level, it is no surprise that the young pioneer, Andrew Dinh, has accelerated at the pace of a graduate in Dance Theatre. He started his career at Oak Grove High School as the first to form, direct and choreograph the dance troupe, Phaxion, from freshman to senior year. Phaxion has gone on to participate in dance competitions such as Battlefest Live and perform at local festivals. On top of that, his choreography has been featured in Oak Grove High School's musical, "Chicago." He has acted as the youngest dancer and guest choreographer on the San Francisco based dance companies - Fusion and Versatyle Styles. Apart from his solo-formed dance troupe and side-line choreography, he's danced with a non-profit organization, Future Shock, for two years where he was featured on the Raiders Half-Time Show, starring LL Cool J and Amerie, along with other major events. Andrew has been teaching here at DTI for more than a year and will continue teaching in the years to follow.
